Happy Fall day at the Arboretum!!

We ventured out to the Arboretum today with Great Grandpa, Great Grandma and Grams today! The weather was beautiful... we took a picnic lunch and let Caroline run all over the place. She of course played on all the pumpkins, got her face painted, played with the animals at the petting farm and enjoyed the day! Caroline even got to pick out two little pumpkins and one BIG pumpkin to take home. Such a lucky little girl....

Beautiful morning to build....

We took Caroline this morning to the bi-weekly build day at Lowe's. This week is was building a firetruck.... she helped daddy put together the entire firetruck. She loved the hammering part (of course). I helped her put on the stickers and as you can see she did a great job. The fire department even came and let the kids play on the firetruck. I love that Caroline is such a girlie girl but has no problem getting her hands dirty and building things with her daddy!

Baby Reese update...

I am officially 29 weeks... ONLY 11 weeks to go until we meet Reese. Here is the latest picture of my baby bump, it's growing. I have gained about 20 pounds but pretty sure I gained most of my weight with Caroline the last few weeks. I am feeling pretty good and staying busy with Caroline is helping pass the time! We have started working on her room and it's coming along. We pulled out all of Caroline's old clothes (I of course cried) and got them washed and put away in Reese's room. Hopefully she can wear some of Caroline's old clothes. I go to the doctor next Thursday to have my gestational diabetes test done and a growth test done on the baby. Everything will be GREAT!! Here's my big tummy....

Happy 3rd Birthday SWEET Caroline!!

Well... our little girl is officially three today, I can't believe it! We had her birthday party at The Little Gym in Plano and the kids had an absolute ball! 12 of her closest little friends came to celebrate as well as family! Steve and I made her cupcakes, she of course wanted a Rapunzel theme. The kids jumped, played, climbed, bounced and stuffed their tummies full of fruit and cupcakes... It sure was a day to remember. Caroline is surrounded by SO much love... thank you to everyone that helped make her day special!

Last Minute Trip!

We decided late Friday morning that it would be fun to take off and head South to Austin/San Antonio. I booked a hotel room in Austin at the Hyatt and we hit the road around 2:30. We got to Austin just in time to see the thousands of bats flying over the bridges... soo cool! Caroline of course loves bats.... We stayed up late, had snacks, jumped on the beds and watched part of a movie. We woke up that next morning to an amazing breakfast buffet at the hotel and then went and met our friends Grant, Sully and Stella at Barton Springs. The water of course was extremely cold but the kids loved playing in the shallow water, hiking, climbing and eating ice cream. Late that afternoon we drove to San Antonio and met Joey, Kristina and the kids for dinner and play time. Sunday we went to kiddie park, which is a 1940's carnival ride type of place where the kids could ride as many times and rides as they wanted for a CHEAP $11. This was Caroline's first time to ride something by herself. She of course loved every minute of it! She was a little scared of the boats (for whatever reason) and finally decided to ride them when we told her how proud Uncle "B" would be if she rode them... she of course jumped right on and smiled the whole time. Later that night we got to play with the entire gang (Unlce Mike, Aunt Krystal, Uncle Brad, Aunt Erika, Brooke, Olivia, Uncle Joey, Aunt Kristina, Gabe and Bella). We hit the road Monday morning and came home to a cool 86 degrees in Dallas. Fall here we come...
