Happy Halloween!!

Well... it's that time again, more pictures of Caroline!! Caroline got to pick out any halloween costume she wanted and she chose Alice from Alice in Wonderland. She has absolutely no idea who Alice is but the dress sure was sparkly and glittery. It absolutely thrilled me that she picked Alice, that is one of my all time favorite movies and Caroline sure fit the part. She LOVED trick-or-treating and quickly picked up on the concept of smiling and then grabbing candy from the bowl. She was a pro. Hope you all had a wonderful Halloween. Enjoy the pictures!!

More Fall Fun!

Well... October has been action packed and FULL of fun! Steve and I both have our ten year high school reunions this month. Nana came in town to baby-sit so we could go to Steve's reunion. We fit in a reunion, a trip to the Dallas aquarium, and of course the Arboretum while Nana was here. Caroline also moved into her BIG girl bed and LOVES it. She stays in her bed all night and when she wakes up in the mornings, she reads in her bed until we go get her (she sleeps until 8:30, wahoo). Steve and I also took Caroline to Lowe's to build a cool flapping bat. Caroline got her own safety glasses, apron, a hammer, nails and a wooden bat to make. Super cute and fun to watch her bang her hammer on everything in sight! She is going to be a great builder like her daddy! Fall is off to a great start!

BIG Orange Pumpkin FUN!!

What a GREAT way to start off October! We took a little day trip to the BIG orange pumpkin farm with the Glasco's. We had an awesome time. The weather was perfect and the girls had a blast. They got to feed animals, go on a hayride, eat hotdogs, go on a train ride, play chase and of course pick a pumpkin. It is so much fun to watch Peyton and Caroline play with each other. They are going to be such great friends. When I looked back at the pictures it made me think about how much Caroline and Peyton look like Chels and I did a LONG time ago. They are going to make such fun memories together. Enjoy and happy fall!

The BIG 2 Birthday Bash Weekend!!

I cannot believe our little girl is 2!!! What a fast and amazing 2 years. Caroline is the absolute best!! We had a down under theme birthday party filled with crabs, lobsters, fish and octopi. Nana and Uncle MIke came all the way from San Antonio to join in on the festivities. Steve and I got Caroline a new aquarium with two fish and a crab. Our crab has already escaped the tank once and was found wondering around in the kitchen. He is now safe and sound back in the tank. We had so many great friends and family come celebrate Caroline's BIG birthday! We are so lucky to have such wonderful friends and family. On Sunday, we took Caroline to the Dallas Zoo. It was amazing and Caroline had a blast. She got to feed goats, pet a snake and feed several giraffe's. We saw all kinds of animals and even got to ride the monorail around the zoo.
