Headed down South!!

WOW, we have been busy!! Steve's, Uncle Richard got married this past Saturday so we decided to head down to San Antonio a few days early to enjoy the hot San Antonio sun. Caroline was awesome in the car (thanks to a $95 DVD player and 4 hours of Mickey Mouse and Elmo).

We headed back to our old stomping grounds (San Marcos) to show Caroline where we went to school. We stopped at Centerpoint Station and had lunch (world's best fried pickles) Caroline loved riding on the old tricycles and cars. You can see from the pictures and the video. We drove all over San Marcos and even checked to make sure our old rock house was still standing, brought back alot of fun memories!!

We also went to Sea World with Mary, Gabe, Brad, Erika, Brooke and Olivia. It was a GREAT day!! Caroline was such a trooper and did not let out one fuss the entire day. Her favorite was feeding the dolphins. She LOVED the dolphins. We saw the Shamu show, the penguins, sharks, fish etc... It was an action packed day. We cannot wait to go back.

That same evening we went over to Brad and Erika's house. Brooke and Olivia showed Caroline their pool and giant bounce house. They had a blast. Caroline played SO hard, she slept until 9:00 that next morning.

The big festivities that week was Uncle Richard's wedding. Richard and Ronnye got married in a beautiful backyard with lots of family and friends. It was a GREAT day and Caroline even did her trick for everyone :0) We had a wonderful visit!! Enjoy the pictures!!

Orchard Time!!

We decided to head out to Ham's Orchard in Terrell, Texas. We had a blast and we even got to eat homemade peach ice cream at 10:45 in the morning. Caroline LOVED looking and touching all the fruits and vegetables. She thought it was necessary to wave at each person that walked by and even stalked people holding ice cream cones. We had a picnic lunch and Caroline even got to pick a few of her own blackberries. We had a great time!!

SUMMER TIME!!!

Well.. today was a little overcast so I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to take Caroline to the park. Boy, was I wrong!! It was extremely hot but we had a great time. Caroline loves the playground. She climbs and jumps on everything. She is fearless. Here are a few pictures from our hot day :0)

My NEW bikini!!!

Well.... as you can see from the pictures, my mom bought me this ridiculous ruffle butt bikini (I actually really like it) and then proceeds to make me play with this strange water willie IN OUR FRONT YARD (in front of people). I just wanted to chill out on our front porch and eat my chips and salsa, but oh-no, daddy grabs me by the arm and drags me into spraying water. I even got my chips wet. My mommy and daddy sure were laughing, I did not see the humor. My mommy and daddy think it is really important that I learn to sort (can you tell I have a teacher as a mommy?) so they taught me to sort hair rubber bands and make a game out of it with my toes. It is SO much fun and hilarious! Enjoy the pictures!!

The hunt for a mean and inconsiderate spider....

Well.... if you have not heard Caroline was bitten by a spider over the weekend. It has been pretty exciting and dramatic around here. If you do not know Caroline very well, she is just a little dramatic (I mean who says it's not ok to be dramatic?) I'm not sure where she gets it from (ME, I know). Anyways, we took her to the doctor and they say se is going to be ok. The medicine is already starting to work. Just a heads up, if you see Caroline in the next few weeks, don't think you can just walk by her and not ask her about her bite. She will make sure she points it out to you, show her sympathy and if you are lucky enough you will get to kiss it. She is the absolute best!! I attached a picture for you to see how gross her bite really is. Poor thing. I hope that spider is hiding in a really dark place because if I find him, I will probably actually man up and step on him (and you know I do not kill anything). I have also attached some recent pictures of us playing at the park, learning how to shave in the bathtub and daddy reading one of her favorite books. Enjoy!!
