Baby Shower for Reese

We were so lucky to have an amazing baby shower for Reese last night hosted by the fabulous Matt and Emily!! Mary came into town for the festivities too. Matt and Emily over did themselves with the decorations, food, drinks etc... We are SO SO lucky to have such awesome friends. It was so fun to spend time with our close friends and family... we are so fortunate to have such wonderful friends. Thank you to everyone that came and celebrated with us... what a special night for us. Now we just get to sit back for the next 5 weeks and wait for Reese.

Halloween Party!!

Caroline had her Halloween party at school today... She had such a great time! Nana was in town so she got to come join in on the festivities. The kids decorated cookies, went trick or treating, decorated pumpkins, decorated prize bags, played pin the face on the pumpkin and read a story. What an action packed morning! Caroline was the cutest little witch!!

Boo! It's Halloween!!!

I can't believe it's Halloween AGAIN! We went out to the Arboretum today to take our annual Halloween pictures... Caroline chose to be a witch this year. She had a hard time deciding between a witch and a banana :0) She made a good choice! At the Arboretum this fall, they have the pumpkin houses set up as Cinderella's village. Caroline of course had to take her Cinderella dress and sit in the carriage. She also got her face painted like a princess, the highlight of the morning. Enjoy!

Busy Times!

We have been busy these past few weekends... We went to Calloway's to their annual kids day where the kiddos got to decorate a pumpkin and eat fun snacks. We headed out to the Dallas zoo with some friends and enjoyed the fall weather. Caroline had a blast. She loved riding on the carousel in the birds nest... she wanted daddy to spin FAST! We also decorated some scary halloween cookies.. they look pretty disgusting but were actually pretty good. I also included a week 30 preggo picture... getting bigger by the day. My doctors report was good this week after failing my first gestational diabetes test... I had to retake the test which is a total pain. They make you drink this terrible sugary drink and then sit there for three hours taking your blood 6 TIMES. I passed this test, thank goodness. Reese is measuring right on schedule and LOVES to dance and play all night while I am trying to sleep. She has also been getting the hiccups throughout the night as well as sending some heartburn up my chest. She's gonna be a night owl... good thing daddy likes to watch info commercials in the middle of the night. I am loving every minute of it. Caroline is so sweet... she rubs my belly and says "hi" to baby Reese every morning and always tells her goodnight. It melts me.... Caroline is doing awesome at school... her teacher tells me she is super smart and loves participating (thank goodness). There is one little boy in her class that Caroline is not too sure about, she likes him some days and then other days she is not quite sure. The kids have their Halloween party in a few weeks so I am excited to be in the classroom again and watch Caroline at school. I'm sure I will have all kinds of pictures... stay tuned!
