Mother's Day!!

What a GREAT mother's day! I woke up so excited this morning... I had two lovely presents from Caroline. She gave me an adorable flower pot that she made in speech class and also used her allowance to go shopping and buy me my favorite perfume :0) What a great way to start the day. We headed out to the zoo today with Uncle Ben, Grams and Grandad and had a blast! I am so lucky that I got to spend the day with my mom! Caroline of course fed the giraffes, saw the gorillas, rode the carousel, and for the first time EVER rode a pony. She did so great and loved it... we were so proud of her. She of course was petting it and making a lot of ahhhhh... noises. She is such a compassionate little girl and has such a sweet heart towards animals. I definitely think she will grow up and take care of animals, be a zoo keeper or a marine biologist. What a picture perfect day!!

Easter Time!!

We have had an action packed April! Nana came to visit us for a few days and we had a GREAT time! Nana took Caroline shopping or maybe I should say, Caroline took Nana shopping... Nana got Caroline her first T-ball set and of course she's a natural! We have had several Easter egg hunts and of course we colored eggs. We went to Grams' and Grandads house for Easter dinner. Uncle Ben hid all the Easter eggs and Caroline loved running around the house looking for them. Great Grandma and Great Grandpa gave Caroline an Easter basket full of goodies (the matchbox cars were her favorite). After dinner, Caroline snuck up on Uncle Ben and smashed a confetti filled cascarones on his head. She thought it was hilarious! The last picture is of Caroline playing Steve's old keyboard. Every time she hears a song on the radio that has a piano in it, she acts like she is playing the piano and then of course really wants to play. She is going to have some natural musical talent (she does NOT get that from me). April has been a blast!
