Well... it's been awhile since our last post, we have had a BUSY BUSY summer! We started June off right by heading down to San Antonio for a few days and then continuing down to South Padre for an entire week. We stopped at Nana and Papa's house for a few days and went to Sea World, the Children's Museum, had a family BBQ and Steve and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary. It was Caroline's first visit to the beach and she absolutely loved it! Uncle Ben and Steve dug A LOT of holes and made A LOT of sand castles. She loved walking along the beach picking up sea shells and flying kites. What a great unforgettable summer vacation!
At home, Steve has FINALLY finished the girls' bathroom. He gutted the ENTIRE bathroom down to the studs. He worked on it a few hours every weekend and finished a few weeks ago. He did an AMAZING job! I cannot believe he figured out how to remodel an entire bathroom by himself. He is so talented! We also got the girls' room re textured, new doors, new baseboards, crown molding and painted. They both have some NEW pink rooms! Caroline LOVES it and has helped me decorate it. It's been a fun project that I am glad is coming to an end! Oh-yea, and Caroline is potty trained, wahoo!! It took a lot of bribing and incentives but she is a pro now!
Also, baby "L" update... we are 24 weeks and doing GREAT! Baby "L" is perfect is every way! We cannot be more excited. Now to work on a name....
